Autumn Wreaths at The Libertine

I had an absolutely wonderful evening meeting this creative bunch for the Autumn Wreath workshop in Westbourne. The smell of the flowers filled the beautiful, cosy workspace with a gorgeous scent, that i'm sure will fill their homes up too once their wreaths are hung up!

The fire was lit, the creative energy was flowing, and I was really impressed with the creations from this evening. I had some lovely feedback and I can't wait to come back for the Christmas workshop in December.

Wreaths with the girls

My gorgeous friends came round to have a go at making one of the wreaths themselves.

Gemma started the session saying "I will NEVER be able to create something as gorgeous as yours!" You know what - I think hers looked even better than mine!
​
The thing I really love about wreath making is that despite having the same guidance and techniques, each person who makes a wreath manages to make it their own - adding their own flair and creative influence.

My first public event down in Dorset!

I had such a lovely afternoon with these fabulous ladies. Not only was it wonderful getting to know each of them, but they were complete naturals at wreath making, and all made something so beautiful and unique. Well done!

Where it all began!

Little did I know that this would be the start of Posy & Wreath...! Without the fantastic feedback and encouragement from Maddy's friends and family, I wouldn't have had the confidence to bring the workshop down to Dorset.
At Maddy's hen I had 15 lovely ladies and everyone was so happy with their gorgeous summery creations. I have promised a Christmas wreath workshop for them - watch this space!
